Dumitru Balea is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Babeș-Bolyai University, where he continued with a master’s degree in European and national business law. His academic activity is currently continued with PhD studies at the same educational establishment, as well as by the collaboration with the Faculty of Law, where he teaches students in civil law seminars. The scientific significance of his research was recognized through the invitation to publish specialized articles in the Romanian Journal of Business Law and Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai, Iurisprudentia series.

The solid theoretical knowledge obtained through research, participation in conferences and study programs abroad is combined with the perseverance, curiosity and prudence that characterize him, enabling him to discern the solutions to the most exciting legal issues.

Dumitru Balea is a litigation lawyer, with the right to be heard by any type of Romanian courts. As his specialization covers extensive parts of civil law, i.e. obligations, contracts and successions, Dumitru Balea is available to clients for legal advice and assistance in various other areas of private law that are complemented by the rules of civil law.
