Ioana Bonda joined the Iordăchescu și Associates team in 2007. The motto that guides her throughout her practice is the one learned from her mentor, Eugen Iordăchescu: “The best lie is the truth.” She graduated from the Faculty of Law and has a master’s degree in Criminal Science and Criminology.

She specializes in criminal and criminal procedure law, gaining her extensive experience by representing clients in famous corruption cases.

Starting with 2017, she has been part of the team that dealt with the case of the Romanian citizen Balo Marius, who was arrested in China. Together with her mentor, Eugen Iordăchescu, she permanently communicated with the Romanian authorities in order to speed up the transfer procedure so that Mr. Marius Balo could execute the remainder of the sentence in Romania. In addition, she constantly maintained contact with the Ambassador of Romania in Beijing, His Excellency Basil Constantinescu, in order to find out in real time all the news related to the interests of the client she represented. As lawyer Bonda says: “The customer is King!We, as lawyers, must do everything we can to accurately represent the interests of clients and achieve our established goal for their exclusive benefit.”

She is fluent in English and French and has good knowledge of Spanish and German.
